whats the going rate for a mature l134 male i have 1 not sure if its male or female what are the differences? i do have pics posted on this site under off topic LDA19 i swas told it is a l134 and looking at the pictures this confilms it, take a look
cheers
I bought one last night from my LFS - they had one that looked more male than the rest so he was mine
Secing them is quite easy - the females are rounded behind the front fins to the tail - the males are more streamlined, have spines by their gill plates, and are 'fury' on their rear half.
£30 would have been max I was looking to pay (£20 would have been better) - I got a bargin though

Dont know how to sex Barryancistrus...
PC says "Probably the easiest way to sex these fishes is by the shape of their foreheads. Males have a flatter, more leveled slope to their foreheads and are slightly wider. Females have a more rounded forehead and are slightly plumper when in spawning condition. There is no noticeable difference in odontodal growth in either species."
