... and finally become a member!

Hi! My name is Marc and I've been lurking on this forum for about 7 or 8 months now. Finally decided to take the plunge and post to say hi!

I don't have any Zeebs at the moment, but I hope to soon. All this time i have been doing lots of research on the species. Experience has taught me never to jump into anything without adequate research.

I have been an aquarist for about 15 years now. My background is in Discus, but i have recently been collecting and breeding rare fish. I guess i thrive on challenging projects

My latest successful project has been successfully breeding the endangered and highly finicky Betta Macrostomas. I'm still working on a group of Heckel Discus. Hopefully we'll get some results in the future.

Yeah.. just wanted to say hi!
This is an awesome site. There is much practical experience to be gained here.

I think i'm ready to take the plunge. Is there a list of breeders available? I tried searching but didn't come up with any official list. Or would it be better if i post a want ad in the private sales section.
Also, what would be a good number of fish to start with. Should i just start with 1 pair?
