Hi smithrc and welcome to the forum.
You have some nice looking plecs there.
I too have been attempting to breed Amano shrimp but it's very difficult. I have several pregnant females at the moment but no sign of any offspring. Apparently the young have to be fed on rotifers so you will have to get a culture going. I have also read that part of their lifecycle is spent in brackish water so you will probably have to simulate this somehow.
You might want to try breeeding red cherry( Neocaridina denticulata sinensis) shrimps instead, they are supposed to be a lot easier to breed and are more colourful. They are also far better algae eaters than Amano, my lot prefer to eat sinking carnivore pellets now and pretty much leave the algae alone.

I've been looking for a supply for a while now but have had no luck. I know that Trimar have them but shrimps don't ship too well, I would prefer to pick them up from a local supplier. You can expect to pay around £3 per shrimp.
