Here are a few of the pictures I've taken in the last few days. I'm more than open to critiques as I'm only just now getting a chance to use the camera enough to learn about it.
Green Candy Cane coral:
Mandarin dragonet:
Red/Green Blastomussa wellsi:
Derasa Clam:
Red People Eater Polyps:
And a few freshwater that I liked.
Amano shrimp:
T. ocellicauda (peacock gudgeon):
Heros severus (Gold Severum):
Cyprichromis leptosoma "Kitumba" (Tanganyikan midwater swimming mouthbrooding cichlid from Lake Tanganyika:
Hypancistrus sp. L260 (Queen Arabesque pleco)
Now if I can just keep taking enough pictures to justify the purchase!
It's a Canon 40D that I'm just learning how to use and the lens is a 100mm F2.8 macro that I splurged and bought for the store last week. I'm glad I did . I'd been quite frustrated with trying to get the shots I wanted and this definitely did the job! With the store and all of the tanks at home I don't really have any time for any other hobby. The photography one ties in nicely and gives me pretty pictures for the website at least .
And I get the added benefit of being able to take pictures of fish I can't make room for at home at the moment, hehe.
Over the years I've posted lots of pics of my zebras . Right now, I'm attempting to leave them alone as I've recombined my group, attempting to break this hiatus .
