I've been ready your forum for a few months now and have shared some of your excitement about these fish. It was extremely helpful when purchasing these. I knew exactly what to look for in a healthy fish. Thanks so much for all the information on tanks and feeding. I'm still a little nervous but very excited to be a steward for two zebras.
Finally able to join you
Finally able to join you
I just brought home my first two zebras yesterday.
I could pick them up locally from a guy that was moving. I've been thinking about this for over a year now. I've been frightened about buying any online. I've read all about the scams and it really turned me off.
Once I was able to pick up a couple I jumped on it. They are only about a eighteen months old and too early to sex. If I can keep them happy I'll try to get some more.

new zebras
They are about 2 1/4" each. Only 18 months old they can't be sexed yet. I hope to get some pics this weekend. The only camera I've got is my phone and that doesn't do them justice. They are a little shy right now. Getting familiar with the new tank but I get a peek every so often. I'll keep you informed.
