Hi Neo,

Very nice, I think that your new zeb looks like a female. I can't say for sure from the picture though. Looks like the zebra bug has bitten you hard on the butt. :lol: I'm feeling a bit left out as you guys are all getting new zebs, I haven't bought one in months. I feel a purchase coming on soon. :wink:

Hi Neo

Nice looking little fish. It's a difficult one to comment on as we can't really see it. If it's over 2.5" I would say you hopefully have a female there.

Need to get a close up of those gill plates and pecs though.

Yeah im thinking female also, fingers crossed :wink: i had Zebs years back when Rob also started then a few year ago gave up all my fish, wished i had not, i sold some really great wild caught adult Zebs :cry: impossible to find nowadays almost, anyways back in with varies fish and tanks all over the place, zeb 5 comes on tuesday and zeb 6,7 & 8 i collect on the 19th so hopefully i will have some deffinate females lol, and yeah if you can get some zebs get out and get them :wink: i feel the need for another zeb tank in a few months and maybe another 8 zebs lol who knows

I've blown up one of your new photo's and I do believe I see some pretty long hairs on the gill plates.

It's not too clear from the photo but I would have to agree with Rob, the zeb does look like a juvenile male.

Nah actually i dont mind, i enjoy the fish for what there are not for breeding, yeah hopefully one day i will have a female and they may spawn, but if they dont then its fine :wink:

cheers dude, one day maybe.. like i say no rush heh anyways the breeders aint gonna want me breeding em lol id sell em for around £30 a fish like they used to be :wink:
