Hi,
I'm afraid I don't have any bigger than the 3 pictured on the
listing for sale at the moment, although I do have bigger one's in
my posession. i haven't thought about starting a breeding
program, I just don't have space for additional tanks.
As for price, I would be interested to know what you think is a
reasonable price for the L046 Zebra?
The price reference of £180.00 each came from my local fish
supplier, who told me that one of his suppliers still had L046's
listed on their stock list (although not showing in stock) and
they would including transit etc, retail for £180.00. He further
stated that he'd been in London where a shop had a few in a
tank that had been reserved, the price marked on the tank was
£180.00 each.
As these lovely little fish become harder to aquire, the price like
everything that becomes saught after increases beyond, what I
would classify as, a realistic price.
The three on offer here I think, although as stated I can not
guarantee, are made up of 2 females and 1 male (smallest),
judging by the angle of their pectoral fins. The 2 larger ones
pectorals appear to be more arc like than the smaller one. This
according to Zebraplec.com is a characteristic of the female.
I'm sorry you feel that the fish I have listed are over priced, but I
have researched the average price to be @ £180.00 per fish. I
would suggest that the Buy It Now price I have chosen of
£375.00 (equivalent to £125.00 per fish) is a bargain compared
to the individual price of each fish.
