Did you get those L287's from Exoticfinds.com?? I was planning to buy a couple myself I have a empty 20 to fill.......How are they?? Are they acclimating fine?

Nice fish.
I got some that look just like yours that were "wrongly " labelled as L173.
Some shops are selling the same fish ,in the UK as L236 !!!!!!!!!!.

Yes I did get them at exoticfinds. This L236 phenomena is messed up. I really don't even know what I really have. L287 maybe, maybe not????

Hi,
the shown fish is Hypancistrus sp. "Belo Monte".
If The Number 287 is correct or not will be sure in the next weeks ... i work on this topic!

If you need pictures of more of the fish to help work this dilemna out Sven, feel free to yell. I've got 10 more fish I bought as L173 that are supposed to be probably L287. Mine aren't colored nearly as well as Ken's though, IMO, and there is more variation.

i have seen your plecos in your gallery. At the moment i think they they are not sp. "Belo Monte". But as i told i am just working on this topic.

Hi Des,
i don't think so. But they look very similar to Barbie's. The shape of this plecos is IMO slightly diffrent to the plecos of Ken.
