exact size of slate breeding cave

plz could somebody the exact dimensions i need to build a slate zebra breeding cave read afew posts but there seems to be no definate size,havent got my zebs yet just trying to set the tankup right any help greatly appreciated as total novice

14.5cm long by 2.5cm high and 3.5cm wide.

thanks for reply so are thease the mesurments you think are best as ive seen some sites saying mesurments about 2 inch height 5-6 inches length and 2 1/2 inches wide

My experience has been that there is no one single best size or shaped cave. It depends on the sizes of the fish as well as their mood. I have had zebras spawn in a variety of sizes and differently shaped caves. The most important consideration is that the cave is not so big it prevents the trapping because the female can get around the male and out.

many thanks for responses so is 1 inch height and 1+1/2-2 inches width a good starter as want to get caves made and in before i get my zebs thanks
