baby zebs

Post by marcus »

i was cleaning out my zeb tank yesterday getting it ready for a full strip down and sort out. when i moved a prawn from the night before and i noticed a little zeb. it was about 1.2cm long and looked happy digging in the sand for small bits of food. after a lot of jumping around i found another 3 little ones hiding in various places around the tank.
how old would a little zeb be at a little over a cm in lenght?
i ask as i am trying to determin what sitimulated them to get jiggy with it. i did a major water change (40% twice in 2 days)about 12-14 days ago and i thinking it might be that. the only other thing i did was a couple of weeks before that when i added another 4, year old zebs.
thanks

Congratulations Marcus.

You're right, it doens't get better than that lol.

You'll probably find a few more on top on the ones you've already found too.

congrats

my beta male has trapped one of the other females but no eggs again. thats the 3 time he has tried with no results. when the fry are a bit bigger ill seperate the group into 2, i hope that will make a difference
