Stolen zebra plecos

If it's about fish in general, or it's a little bit random, then this is the place to post it.

That's pretty bad. But it's a valuable (and I mean VALUABLE) lesson learned!

I can tell you off hand how valuable the lesson is. I had 8 wild caught Zaire Blue Moba Frontosas between 15-18cm, 14 wild caught Tropheus Moliro adults and 1 L001 Gold Spot Pleco about 25cm all stolen from my garage in one night. All in all about AU $4300.00 worth. Lost.

Lucky my zebs weren't there!

:shock: Shocking!

Pets are extremely valuable in this day and age... Anybody seen the documentaries about dogs bieng kidnapped and either ransomed or sold on? :evil:

With the sentimental value of pets bieng high anyway... Imagine the jumps for joy when someone discovers the value of 10 rare fish in your tank?

@fronty...

That crime could have only been commited by somebody who knows the fish were there. Could be a friend, pet shop owner, exporter... Somebody you are directly connected to either commited the crime or divulged the information in casual conversation that led to crime.

Did you ever find out who did it?
