Can I Help further Stimulate breeders with WC or?

Post by denoc »

Hello experts

After the initial big water changes/cooling and then warming up to Breeding Temps of 84- 86 F Can I Help further Stimulate breeders with water changes at 85 - 86 F.

Of course the water is aged for a few days ,same temp and tds as in the tank.

Fish seem to be just hunkering down in caves now.
Female doesnt seem interested in Alpha. However she was interested in a smaller male till he was kicked out of his cave by Alpha.
Suggestions anyone?

thanks

Same temp and tds is defeating your purpose. The fluctuation simulates the rainy season that is their spawning time.

Could you please add your location to your profile? We're a multi national forum and it helps us keep everyone straight. Thanks.
