We have 2 quite mature males in our group and have noticed they go a pink colour when they are getting agro with each other...
Anyone else seen this?

the fighting is not that bad... It almost like their blood bressure increases as they get cross and they go slightly pink.pandadosmares wrote:Its normal cos of the injuries

I have noticed sometimes they have blue tinges to their fins... any one else seen this? (Piccy below)

the fish tend to get a blue tinge to their fins when they are in prime condition, almost like an irredescent blue.
The pink tinge has also been noted by McEve, (do a search and you should find something), possibley due to diet. Are you using a colour enhancing food?

they are fed a varied diet - but 60% of the time they are fed on Tetra Prima Discus... which is said to enhance colours...
