Male or female... ???

We all know how difficult it is to identify the sex of these fish, so please post a picture in here and we'll try to help you (or at least give an educated guess!).

Yes - sorry - Photo sucks.... i'll try and get a better one at some stage ... the little zeb's a bit camera shy :-(

I would say it's a male from the odontode growth that you describe.

I agree, after resizing the photo so I could see more than 1/4 of the fish at a time, the shape definitely appears male.
