Hi, im AnnMarie and iv just joined your forum. I was wondering if someone could tell me at what age can you sex the Zebra? Iv been offered 2 for £150, or £90 each, I would buy the 2 if I knew they were male and female. Thanks for any help

I would say at that price they are young maybe 1" / I think you can sex approx. at 2 years of age.

I am horrible at sexing fish, even zebras. I usually rely on behavioral clues once they are sexually mature or close thereto. The other way I can sex them is to move them to a photographing tan with a bit cooler water and then shoot pic of them, esp from the bottom. This usually give me a view where I can see the sex organs. But I have to DL the pics to my PC and look at them enlarged.
