Whoop whoop! zebs spawn at last!

Managed to see past dad tonight briefly and have seen 2 fry

I popped my party popper than I've been saving for 3 years

Dad has still not let the bubs out of the cave but I have seen a perfect little miniature zeb in there but as of this morning he now has another female trapped in there I've had 134s and 174s spawn with fry in the cave but wondered if its common and will he ever let them out

Hi Jo,
Congrats on your zebs, how many fry did you get?
I have had spawns in the past where i had had fry & new spawns in the same cave with zebs with no problems, they find their way out in the end!

Your first Zeb fry will be very special to you, well done.
Your L173 I had managed to see a couple of fry & then they vanished as dad had swapped caves before they were due to leave, very strange so I thought they had died, but i found 4 fry at the weekend so was well chuffed, they are in a trap now
My other group of L173 have had maybe 6-8 fry they are being left in the tank & the female is hovering around the cave again, so fingers crossed.
My Zeb spawn failed, but then another group with a F1 female bred by myself, smaller than one you got has just started spawning, I spotted one fry still with yolk sack a week or 2 back, but this is now empty.
Fingers crossed it may be alive still.

Well done on the 173s and your younger F1 female

The large female is proving quite a challenge to the F1 male that is now as big as her but can't quite win her over yet but he keeps trying lol! Hopefully he will win her one of these days
