We all know how difficult it is to identify the sex of these fish, so please post a picture in here and we'll try to help you (or at least give an educated guess!).

Hi Shell,
£45 is a great price for the male zebra if you manage to get it for that and the chap doesn't wise up to how much it is actually worth.
Let me know when you get a picture and I'll post it up for you.

To be honest, at that price I wouldn't wait for a picture, just get round there and have a look and obviously buy.... if it is a zebra. My guess is that it is not a zebra. The number of plecs in shops now with the slightest hint of a stripe of any discription and it is sold as "columbian zebra" this, "queen zebra" that!

just to defend the colombian Zebra and the Chocolate Zebra - they have been called this for years its not a marketing ploy - you have free range to shoot the rest down

They are still a bit too young to be 100% sure but this is my verdict.
1. Male
2. Female

4. Male
5. Female
