I heard rumours they were being bred in Florida and now I see a commercial site in the USA selling them "soon" At $249 each . Ouch

L46 coming soon on Liveaquaria.com
They've been being bred in Florida for a few years now, according to Larry Vires. They can't begin to keep up with demand though. I heard another rumor that they are going to be available again from Brazil, also. I'm sure there's some truth to the rumors, it's just exactly how long "soon" is, I'd think .

they put that "coming soon" so you can subscribe to their email notification. If you subscribe then you are first inline to get the fish. I have used the email notification several times at Liveaquaria before - works great if you check your email daily.
$250 each is a bit steep for me. I'd feel guilty charging $150 each.
