Larry Vires was a HUGE help to me when I started working with plecos. Tricks of the Trade has some typos and a few editorial issues, but the info within should be a big help to anyone wanting to work with plecos, and Hypancistrus in particular.

I bought the book last month...not really a book, just photo-copied and put together. But it was good. Good if you need extra info on the Zebra. So yeah, I DO recommend it. Go for it!
