Since all of us take under siriously consideration the water chemistry in our zebra tanks feel free to post your water parameters in order to have a reference for all of us and for the newer members.
Here are mine.....
PH: 6,5
GH: 3-5
KH: 1-2
Temp: 28,5
And also since many of us use Reverse Osmosis Units for the water changes here are the characteristics of mine and the regural water changes i am making....
RO: AquaPro 380lt/day at 4 bar of pressure
MicroSiemens Output: 9
PPM Output: 4-5
PH: 6,7
I usually make 30% water change every week with 3/4 Water from the R.O. and 1/4 with Tap water.I also add Seachem's "Discus Trace" for trace elemments.

It's always best not to start fiddling with chemicals, as it's very hard to keep the parameters on a steady level if you do. From what I understand it's the fluctuations in parameters that's hard for the fish to cope with.
When that's said, I have to use a GH+ in my water, as the water is 0 GH and KH out of the tap here, and that's proven to be too soft.
My parameters are
PH 6.4
GH 6
KH 3
temp 29-32C
