fish in very poor state after recent trapping help !!!
Recently one of the males trapped a zebra in the cave, a week later this is what we noticed....what would you advise??????

I would put it in an H tank with lots of clean water and good food and keep an eye on it. Unless it develops complications which would require meds, it should heal on its own.

Oh my best of luck to you. I just had my albino bristlenose male do this very same thing to one of the females. She looked like this but worse as she has the long fins, she grew some horrible hairy stuff on the areas where the scales were missing in the quaratine tank I had her in but she did not survive. I sure hope you have better luck with your zebra and it heals well.

This was my female a couple of weeks ago. I quarantined her and helped her with melafix. I have to take a new picture, she has her stripes back but the top back fin looks like it's not growing back. She was so pretty. i mean she still is but will the top back fin ever grow back? Best of luck buddy. Let us know if she makes it
