Hi

Post by planted90 »

Hi I finally got my zebras all set up so i figured it would be safe to post(didn't want to introduce myself til i made sure i could care for these guys without killing them!!!)

My name is Bob I am from Western Canada.

I have my zebras in a 90 gal lightly planted wave tank.

When i first got my zebras i was so worried that i would have trouble taking care of these guys, but the longer i have them the more comfortable i am with these guys.

I have been following this site for a while and it is has been very helpful and i look forward being a member.

Thanks

Bob

Welcome to the site and happy to see yet another zebra keeper.

Zebras are not as hard to care for as many folks make out. In fact, they are as hardy as most plecos. What they are is more effort to spawn and more expensive to buy. When one pays a lot of money for a fish, that fish automatically gets treated with extra care. A Ming vase and a dime store vase will both break as easily, but one you treat with kids gloves :aok:
What makes the common person uncommon is common sense.

Hi and thanks for the welcome.

Yes that is exactly the way i ended up treating these guys, hard not to when you invest so much into these fish.

I had seen pics of these guys before but only recently had access to them in my area. Now that i have them i am hooked and hope i can give my zebras a long and happy life and maybe even get them to breed.

Thanks
Bob
