I do not buy or sell on AquaBid and have not for a number of years. However, I do monitor the pleco section to see whats going on with zebra sales- so I saw that auction.
The seller is brand new with a 0/0 rating. If you have followed the zebra listings on AB for any amount of time as well as the forum postings there on this topic, you should be very nervous about bidding.
I have no idea whether the seller is toally legit or a scammer. However a few things would make me nervous about bidding.
1- The auction does not indicate if they are wilds or tank raised.
2- The resereve price has been met and with the current bid at $2,050 (which included shipping). That is $410/fish delivered. overnight shipping would work out to about $80 or more using FedEX or UPS- so the net price per fish is under $400. That seems a bit cheap for zebras of that size, especially for females.
3- The picture provided shows one fish- where are the others?
4- Does anybody know who the seller is? Most of us tend to use the same screen name at all the sites we visits. Has anybody ever run across a user named "Ooiegooie" anywhere else on the net?
I will be most curious to see when the auction closes what the eventual winner reports back as to if they received the fish and if they were as advertised.

Looks like the highest bidder at the moment is a member here, so there is a good chance this saga continuesTwoTankAmin wrote:I will be most curious to see when the auction closes what the eventual winner reports back as to if they received the fish and if they were as advertised.

I just took a fly through over at AquaBid and stumbled onto this thread about these fish
http://www.aquaboards.com/viewtopic.php?id=2413
I was particular tickled by the post of the site owner which said this about the seller's address:

Their address is the same as "Hot Bodys" - listed under Adult Entertainment if you google the address.
