I, like McEve have a dedicated 120L tank for them - It was set up for them - tested on a group of L129s until I got the true zebs.
If youv'e got he tank - set it up and get it running. why mess about with a 31L tank and a £150 fish if you have the 180L tank??
Get it cycled using media from your other tank and add some suitable mid swimming fish to keep it going - It'll only take a couple of hours to get it going and be ready for fish (not the zeb though please) runit for a few days to get it settled and give a shot buy moving some of your other plecs across for a while. then when your happy its stable - swap them back out and add the zeb.
Please dont mess about - you said you wanted to do it properly.
