Farlowella Xmas Present

Post by TwoTankAmin »

I got up this morning and discovered this lovely Xmas present:

As far as I know this is the first time they have spawned having been in my tank about a year.

John- I appreciate the link. I think they are acus from their snout, but I got them as farlos without the knowing which for sure.

The fry will either make it or not with little help from me. That tank is my high light co2 added planted tank and there are 3 farlos, 5 rasboras an assortment of corys- panda, paleatus and sterbai and one SAE.

I will make an effort to feed some zuke if they make it to free swimming.

The nice thing is the eggs are smack on the front glass which should let me get regular pics as the eggs progress, assuming all goes well. if they do, I will add pics to this thread as I get them.

Snapped this on day 3+. You can now see tiny falros inside the eggs.
