Sexing/overall quality of 3 Zebs?

We all know how difficult it is to identify the sex of these fish, so please post a picture in here and we'll try to help you (or at least give an educated guess!).

Sexing/overall quality of 3 Zebs?

Post by CDNAqua »

Hello, Fellow Zeb Heads

Due to Imer's failed order of zebs to me... I am forced to seek Zebras elsewhere..even if I have to grow more zebra out.

3 different zebras to check out. Photo order is 01, 02, 03 and finally the small photo with the Canadian Loonie in view for size reference. The CDN Loonie coin is just a bit bigger than a CDN or US quarter.

What do you think of these 3 zebs?
Overall quality and thoughts on Sex please.
They are about 2 inches long and perhaps 1.5 years old.

There was 4 to purchase however the keeper said after he took the pics the first time.... and put zebs back in tank. One zeb got caught behind the heater and died.   The first Time pic is the smaller of the photos (with the 4 little zebs in view) before the little one died.

I was in hopes to purchase them all. A hefty price tag is attatched to them along with a 10 hour drive ahead. A BLOODY Toil of a drive it is :!: I hate Driving! So please fire away your thoughts to aid in my decision.

A big thanks to all for your time and expert eyes. :D

Peace

Troy

I'm not too good at this.

1 & 2 males and 3 a female.

Looking at the pics of the group they all look fine to me.
