I got me some Zebras, d d d dooo!! (Repeat as necessary)
Took a trip to Daves last night to drop off some caves,
and came home the proud owner of 3 little zebs. How chuffed am I. I didn't even ask for them, he kindly offered to do me a deal and swap them. He even said I can swap them back at a later date if I have an incorrect ratio of males:females.
Now I just have to wait for a couple of years, feed them well, and hopefully they will breed (most fish in my house seem to knock out little clones, so it shouldn't be too much trouble )
Here's some pics of the fish (sorry about the quality, they were taken on my phone):-
And heres where they'll be living
At home under a log (the BN slipped past my efforts of preparing a L046 only tank - but she can stay for now)
All three settled really quickly and were eating within 10min of me letting them out.
Thanks Dave (How's the L333's)

Thanks
My wife is not convinced though, I quote
"They look the same as the other stripey plecs, that hide all the time"
The other fish she refers to are my colony of L333's. She just doesn't understand
The L046's are in the 2' tank in the kitchen, which is where I will be eating my meals from now on, zeb spotting

Each purse will fertilize itself and spit out a pair of matching shoes, a belt that coordinates well, and a dress tooeklikewhoa wrote:dave wrote:Well if they have sex, just think of the purses your fiance can buy.

They are stunning!discusbabe wrote:LMAO @ the purses quotes etc! Can't see the point of having more than one purse, more than one zeb is a must though!
Congrats on your new babies Tom, they look stunning!
I'm made up with them.
Feeding can be a bit hit and miss as the current is quite high. Ive got round this by dropping the food down a tube to the cave where they reside. Then its munch munch munch .
I'll keep you all posted on their progress.
