Best Looking tank!

At long last, another comp!

The prize this time is an exclusive pin of the most beautiful fish, guess which one

The theme is: Best looking zebratank!

Best of all, we've got a category for the best looking tank with plants, and one for tanks without plants! One pin for the best picture in each category.

The picture must be no larger than 600x600px. If it's larger it will be resized down to this size.

Enter your photo in one of three ways:

1. Send the picture in a mail to catfish @ qtopia . no (remove the spaces)
2. upload them through web on http://comp.qtopia.no/ password this time is ... tanks. Then click the button shown on the picture to upload your picture:

3. Send a PM with a link to your picture if it's already on the web.

Include your username in the filename if you choose option 1 or 2, so that I know which picture belongs to who.

Pictures can be submitted until the 6'th of May, and the competition starts on the 7'th.

The winners will be announced the 21'th of May

The competition is, as usual, open for all except me, but each member can only submit one picture.

Dig deep in your archive, or get your camera out and enter a pic of your tank!

can anyone in any country enter (would you ship the prize) and can i enter with a tank without L046's as i dont have any yet

i think since all the other competitions involved zebra's and this is a site dedicated to the art of zebra husbandry this should answer you question

Like hamish99 said, this is a site dedicated to Zebras, so yes, it's pictures of Zebratanks that qualify.

And yes, the prize willl be shipped to the winner.

Clarification please.

The home page says best tank without plants but this thread indicates both best tank with and without plants. Which it is?

If you don't mind my asking...wouldn't it be better to separate the competitions since it’s so difficult to come up with new ideas.

I see no reason to post two identical (except for the plants) postings. This is the announcement, the competions will of course be two separate threads (polls)

You can put plants in a tank.

I'll have to look into this.

Seriously, good luck everyone. The competion should be well contested there are some great looking tanks out there.

Incidently that brooch looks suspiciously like one that went on ebay a while back. There was quite a "bidding war" over it if I remember correctly and it went for good money in the end.

I guess I better dust down the sherman and get some pics of it.

one picture pr member in each category.

In other words, if you have a tank with plants, you can enter one picture of that.

If you have a tank with no plants as well, you can also enter one picture of that tank.

Lucky i still need to mow like 50 lawns before i can even begin LOOKING for any zebras . I wonder if a can sell some plant trimmings to the store...
