L260 and zebs together

If it's about fish in general, or it's a little bit random, then this is the place to post it.

It works ok, but the zebras usually get put off spawning that way. It's also harder to condition them. You could easily put them in the same tank with a divider of light grate or something though and it should keep them from intimidating the zebra males.

Hi

I have seen pics of hybrid hypancistrus, L66 and another, think somewhere in planet catfish. Is it worth taking the chance?

Also limited partners increases the risk of hybridisation.

I have never kept L260, but from what I've read habits very similar to L46, so I guess if you provide all the right conditions for breeding, they will breed, the dominant male is likely to breed with females from either species.

Also be aware that one species may be naturally more dominant than the other. My L46 males get a bit aggressive prior to breeding, though no serious damage so far. If there is a significant difference, or even a small difference in dominance, it could be terminal.

Take peckoltias, ask anybody who has added these to a tank with L.no's
