@ plastic

Fair enough. Though I have to say that no pressure was applied... No PM was sent, and certainly no email. As for the post in question I am sorry if it has caused offence.

Sincerely

Bader.

No offence given or taken. It is a very protracted business getting fish from Germany - language, logistics etc. That is why I am being very cautious about selling any. I am hoping once I establish the procedure for obtaining the fish to sell them on a regular basis at between £100 and £125 per fish. This is highly dependant on the price I get them at. Yes I would like to make a profit to subsidise my fish room whilst I establish a small business specialising in L-plecs.

Marcus I may want to take your offer up on boxes to transport the fish. Please e-mail me with further details grettonman@btinternet.com

Can I make a suggetion?

If you are driving down to Germany to get the fish... Why not just use a couple hard plastic transporter tanks... and for heating and filtration... use the proper stuff (a few low power heaters maybe 25-50w and a few small sponge filters)... How I hear you ask? Look up the word "inverter" on ebay... This is a gadget that converts the car's cigarette lighter to a 3pin uk plug... some even have multiple plugs.

Inverter:

ALSO more goodies... I found this government document on the import subject:

Hope this proved to be useful.

Sincerely

Bader.
