Baby Zebs *warning may take a while to upload pics*

I figured before they disappear in the crevices in my tank, I'd take a few pictures :)

And for the office:

But of course, the camera doesn't do them justice ;)

Thanks everyone :)

I actually purchased them from a breeder in Texas and he never heard of our site. They all survived the shipping and when I first opened the package, I was surprised at how tiny they were!!

I wrote back to the seller/breeder and told him they all arrived live and well and told him if he ever had another spawn and was looking for great homes for his spawn, to come to this site and register his success and perhaps share his experiences with us :) Hope he comes and joins.

I noticed some of the babies seemed "scared" because of the tetras swimming around, so I've made the decision today to remove the tetras. I'm too paranoid to have anything upset the zebras :( My lfs will take in the tetras for store credit. I may get a bamboo shrimp (filter feeder, no threat to the zebras). ;)

Hi Dana!

No worries.. it'll be awhile before these babies will spawn! :)

I actually lost a few a few days ago :( no signs of why they passed away though *cry* fins were perfect, bellys not bloated...

but you've got a great setup in your tank Dana. I'm sure with time they will spawn! (off topic) Do you have caves for them to "play" in?

I have got a spawn tube and I will buy others ...

My dominant is often is this tube .... With the new gravel and less stones , I will see them more easily ... 8)

Hi NetsuaiAngel,

Nice looking babies you have there, sorry to hear that you have lost a few of them. At that sort of size they can be a bit fragile, fingers crossed that the remaing babies do ok.

Great babies - did anybody notice number 2? I would certainly vote for it if it was ever entered for our tail competition
