Hello,

I had animals these were sexually mature with 6 cm. These are 4-5 cm in size. I sell groups of 10 pieces or 5 pieces. At 10 pieces the probability is least 50% that female takes part there.

to Italy and EU is no problem delivery.

McEVE: The fish are F1.

Imer

I got my boy L333 with Alevans' delivery too :D !

Bonnie, US may be a problem due to customs. Though, of course, the problem is exporting rather than importing. If I were you I would contact my local authorities to ask about CITES regulations first.

As you may know I collected 10 Zebras today which were sent by (bluectriscal) Imer.

I thought I would tell you a little about the seller, although I must confess that Caesars is the expert!

Imer is based in Frankfurt, Germany and seemingly has quite a large stock of Zebras and other L nos at various sizes.

As some of you may have seen he has some negative feedback on eBay but it’s from someone he BOUGHT from, and it is disputed.

Imer is not fluent in English and that tends to make us sceptical. I travel the world and fully understand that we British (and American, Canadian etc) are very lacking in trust of those who can’t speak our language. Imer’s English is far better than my German!!

Imer obviously prefers people to pay upfront for the fish and shipping, would you send £1200 of fish to Germany without payment upfront? He accepts PayPal and Western Union amongst others and you can pay in Pounds Sterling. Larger shipments (10 zebras) will be delivered free (except the UK handling fee, which Imer cannot pay).

Imer uses Lufthansa Air Cargo (who my Fish Shop owning friends rate very highly) who will arrange for a local agent to receive the shipment (Menzies Air Cargo at Manchester). Because Lufthansa will only accept the cargo on certain flights and certain times (this is to avoid un-necessary delay e.g. poor weather) there is no way Imer can say I can ship your fish on your day of choosing. This is not Imer’s fault; it’s just the way the system works. As an aside, six weeks ago you may have wondered why your local Marks and Spencer store are out of stock of Mangoes? It might be that the aircraft they were due to fly from India on is still stuck in Cancun?!

Imer will SMS and email you the collection time from the airport and also the Air Way Bill number. The UK agent will also contact you to ensure that you can collect them. It pays to arrive early so that you can find the right part of the airport! You will have to pay the UK agent a Handling Fee (£35 at Manchester) and then off you go! There are no Customs and Excise issues within the EU.

As for the fish themselves they are as advertised, healthy and well packaged. Mine arrived with a water temp of 26c, ph 7.2 kh1 gh3.

In a nutshell I 100% trust Imer and would not hesitate in doing more business with him in the future. For the record I am not related to Imer (as far as I know) and have not been paid to write this appraisal. I was asked to give positive feedback if I felt it appropriate.

If anybody wants more details I’m happy to oblige!

  nice one Alun, I am not related to him either!
Well, I gave my feedback on Imer earlier. I can only say I second what Alun said 100%. The reason I started the posts here is that I know a number of us are looking for zebra plecs and some have had bad experiences in the past, so I thought good sellers should be advertised to assist fellow-forum-ers in finding the fish. Thumbs up to this one, please feel free to contact him directly (he is now a member of our forum. On the other hand, if you want to cut down on costs of packing and postage start a thread so that others can also join! Imer sells in groups of 5 or 10. And he just emailed me to say there are more eggs in his caves (I want to know what he puts in his water to get them so randy

Imer,

I am interested in a breeding colony. Just had a few questions for you...

1) Can you ship to PDX guaranteed?
2) What is the price for 6 in USD?

Thanks,

Pacific
