We all know how difficult it is to identify the sex of these fish, so please post a picture in here and we'll try to help you (or at least give an educated guess!).

That's true, one can see male traits in a female, and vice versa. But what makes me believe this one is a male is the long cheek odontoded and quite a lot of odontodes on the pectoral fins, and the body shape. The body shape alone is nothing to make a sure identification on, but combined with the odontodes I'd say it's a male.
