You mayl find this hard to believe, but I have no idea how to answer that question accurately, even after 24 spawns. All of the spawns have been in only two caves which are crudely made slate caves, very tight fit and siliconed together sloppily enough that there are beads inside the caves. I have ...

Your average brood size
Hi All
My colony has been breeding regularly but I noticed that I get about 5 to 8 fry each time. This is no where near what I read of 12 to 15 each time from other breeders.
My alpha male is 3.5" and female 3" TL, big and storky adults.
Is that normal or I am missing something in my setup?

Juvenile Grow up tank
Hi Folks
I am planning to move my 12 adults from a 5 footer tank to 2 x 4 footers, split up into 2 breeding groups. I was wondering should I just randomly add in the juveniles (about 10 or 12 of them) or should i have a separate grow up tank for them? They range from 0.5" to 1.2" in length.

Rejected Fry
Hi Folks,
On 3 occasions, I net out a wondering fry with egg sac only to see it die in the nursery tank (within the breeding tank) each time within the day. Were they not viable in the first place so were ejected by the male from the cave?
Is it always better to leave the eggs and fry with the ...

L46? or Hybrid?
It has the zebra's characteristic black and white eyes but the tail has wriggly lines. Is it a L173?

Greetings
Hi everyone
I have just set up a breeding tank of 9 adults in recent months, and newly added a L173 and a now id as L400 (sold to me as L98). This zebra comm actually belongs to my wife as I have my own pseudas and other plecs. Glad to be on board.
Cheers
