If you only have a portion of the tank bare bottom, you probably won't see much using this method. I can appreciate the beauty of well planned show tank...and can understand why you want to have one.
As a breeder...and someone that wants to learn as much as I can about zebras...the 3-D ...

I did see a female in the cave, courting with the male. I wish I would've looked closer at that time, but I tend to give them thier privacy when they look like they might be spawning. (Except for that spawning video I shot...lol) A quick look would've told us if the fry were still in the cave during ...

Great story Dale. Thanks for sharing! One of the other females in the tank, might be ready to spawn right away. I would move the remaining fry...and open up the cave that was used. For feeding the fry, I like frozen cyclops...in addition to live bbs/decapsulted bbs/ and a small pellet food made by ...

I only measure TDS (total dissolved solids). I recommend getting a TDS meter for that. A cheap one is about $20 - $25. All my spawns have been right around 200 TDS. 1 or 2 spawns have been higher then that...but the majority of spawns have been within 10TDS of 200.

I woke up to a huge surprise this morning. 3 Zebra spawns! A total of 14 free-swimmers, and an egg clutch of about 12 eggs. The BIG surprise came from 1 male. I was emptying the cave out (since I seen fry) and out comes 9 free-swimmers. I shook the male out, to make sure I had all the fry. And ...

The counter reset as of last night. We need 7 votes to make #1!!! For some reason it wouldn't accept my vote (yet). It dropped from 25 to 27 while I was watching.

There are 2 categories...in and out. In shows how votes were made. You can only vote once a day...per computer. Otherwise...it doesn't count it. The out category is apparently, people that visited (through Aquarank) that didn't vote. But that is a guess.
I think Aquarank resets the stats on Sunday ...

Congrats Rob!!! Zebrapleco.com has made the front page of Aquarank (top 25). 4 more votes would put it into 18th. Top 5 is doable, but we need a group effort. Ask Santa to get the elves to vote...lol.
