They were already on a diet of blackworms Frank, it's definitely safe to feed them until you've got fry. I actually haven't had any problem with fry trying to eat the live blackworms, but I lost 10 in one fell swoop when I fed frozen bloodworms once. Definitely plan on reconsidering your feeding ...

Looks like only the pics you took through the glass are blurry. The one from on top looks great. Maybe someone good with a camera could give some insight on this.

Further, I hope that the misrepresentation of an incident like this does not deter anyone from attending an event hosted by PVAS or any of the other fine aquarium clubs around the country.

Just got back from the convention. Thanks to Barbie I was able to bring home an L134 (once she finally woke up and opened the door) :lol: . I have never seen so many fish being sold at the same time. The auction was awesome even though I didn’t manage to win the raffle for the 72-gallon bow front ...

Good to hear. I'll be there. The lady who had her prize fish Stolen ( which happens to be the very fish the convention logo is from ) will be attending also. She gets me in trouble when it comes to buying plecos.

I hate bring up a sore subject, but my LFS had an L134 entered into a contest at the show last year. It won first prize but then got stolen right off the table. Nothing but a trail of water drips. Ouch!

It is a very good idea of having a feeding dish for them. So they'll know exactly where the food is going to be all the time. If you don't mind, can i use your idea.

Do you have any problem of food spilling out of the dish? Or water current pushing the food out of the dish?
