Yes, I'm sure popular Red Cherry and Amano shrimps will be OK. You can also keep some Filter Shrimps like Atyopsis moluccensis and Atya gabonensis.

The 6100 will be fine and with the water speed adjustment on it, you should be able to set the pump to suit your tank.

By ratings, the Stream Pump 6100 sounds best for your size of tank, zebras do like current, but i would be more worried about too much current for the fish with the size of pump you are talking about, incase it stresses the fish.
