manly pep havnt spawnd them for they cant get hold of a male and female, nor do they have a big enough tank. I think these fish are up with the L46s so if i canot bred then i have 5 beautiful plecos.

buy a ticket to columbia and a net and go catch them yourself, then you know where they came from, and what kind they are

I wish, the plecos have either been wiped out for toxic waste, or they plecos are found in gorilla teritory. So theirs no chance im going to risk my life for them, good idea ...

im going to be picking them up, so id be willing to travel anywhere, aslong as its worth it. Like im trying to get a person in america to get me 5 then fly over and collect them and bring them back, hopefully no risk.

Trying to aquire 5 blue-eyed plecs is going to be practically impossible. BE's are far less common than zebra's and considering how fruitful you have been in your serach for zebra's so far, do you honestly think you'll be able to find 5 of the ole' blue eyes?

dont touch them, just leave them. Shinning a troch could stress the male and he could eat the eggs!

ok this is what i recomend

tank size: 30 gal (min)
substrate: gravel or sand (no more than 1'')
heater: 28-30 Degrees.
filter: canister, eheim would be the best for you.
Current: a few power heads are a must.
MUSTS: cave for male, bog wood for female.
Air: a couple of air stones.
Water: excellent ...

i didnt think an alpha would allow anyone else in the cave after the spawn? not even one of his last bathes fry.
