Thanks everyone, its just one of those things that can't be helped. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar thing happen I know this cannot be prevented but I am curious as to what killed her, laying the eggs or perhaps the male got a bit over excited and killed her.

I have FX5's in 2 of my tanks full flow and surprisingly its not as powerfull as I thought it would be, but the zebs seem to like it and being able to point the dual outputs at different angles is very handy.

Hi Andrew sorry about the deal falling through, some people seem to see their zebs as stock market shares unfortunatley. Lucy is probs right about buying fry as once they are sexable you could always sell on any extra males you have.

Well done on the spawn but im sorry to say that once the fry hatch they are attached to the egg and will spend the next week or so eating the egg yolk until totally consumed they should also be still in the back of the cave.
