I usually feed my zebras with mussels.
Previously I open the live mussel in boiling water and cut the two sides of it, removing the hard parts.
Tying it in a stone I put it in the aquarium.
The next moorning I remove not eating mussel.
It has lots of proteins but, on the contrary, much phosphate too ...

The only aquarium mate of the zebras is a caridinia (srimp).
Do you think it could be the "secret napping agent"?

I bought it on November 2004, a year ago.
I thought that the only damage was the tail but considering the fins it´s possible they would be damaged too.
But the fish has been in good condition all this year and the tail has grown a little although it could be imposible recover completely the tail.

I have two L-46 (I think both males) and another two L-316, one of which is a male and the other I don´t know.
I´ll send you a pics in a few days to confirm my suspicions.

My first goal is, of course, to provide females for my friends, but in Spain is quite hard to purchase this fish.
