when i sat there choosing between bristlenose or zebra's i couldnt decide, so flipped a coin and bought up 12 zebs

I did some reasearch found people are keeping them around the 8.0-8.3 and breeding them here on this site..

and then just like other plecos, L333, l260 are kept in this high ph hard water, they do wc like 50% with RO water to drop TDS and PH, so assuming the tank must be able to handle it then ...

Prolly just better to drip accumilate them to the tap water directly then you think? not that big of a ph change, am sure happens as well when ordering fish in and their ph is different just slowly accumilate them instead of messing with the water right now? just like a 25% water change with RO ...

I am acquiring a dozen 2" zebra's on sunday. Right now my ph is 8.4, hard water.

They are being kept in 7.1 ph water. What would be the best way do you think to adjust the water?

My parents home, have a water softener, etc. water is soft, would that mean more/less ph would be around 7.0?

i dont keep track of fish past f3 personally. F1 and F2 even F3 tend to have the best coloration in other fish, i haven't seen enough pleco breeding to tell yet, i've seen F1 of certain pleco species all look superb, even wilds.

I know this has been out for a bit, i have seen this once. It was in a spawning of ABN's. Clump of "ghost eggs" it seemed to me. Which was very odd as day before the clump was yellow and in the cave, so im not really sure at all what they are, how they came to be like they are. odd.
