Some of the German breeders are feeding their fish amonst other things on tablets they produce themselves.
70% Spirulina powder + 30% decapsulated Artemia eggs + Water , then freezing it.

Its Gamma Radiated. I have had them about 6 weeks

The patch which is only on one side appears to have developed a fluffy white growth. It does not appear to be distrressed.

nitrate 7, nitrite 0, ammonia 0, ph 7.0. temp 80f. I changed 10% of the water twice a week. The tank has been established for 6 months filtered by an Eheim 2129 and an internal filter. They are fed on tablets, frozen bolldworm, zuchini, sweet potatoes etc...

Queen Arabesques Dying

Two of my QAs have died and a third has the same symptoms. They have lost their colouration in a small patch behinf the pectoral fins. It looks like a fungal inspection. The infected fish is very lethargic Water is normal . No pictures available. Anybody got any ideas

Identities of some of the L's

If some of these L-plecs are so difficult to determine eg L236, L 399, L400 etc... how can I be sure if I go to an Aquarist that what I buying is really what they say it is ?

No offence given or taken. It is a very protracted business getting fish from Germany - language, logistics etc. That is why I am being very cautious about selling any. I am hoping once I establish the procedure for obtaining the fish to sell them on a regular basis at between £100 and £125 per fish ...

1. Should they be stored one per plastic bag ?
2. I will be driving back from Germany with them so I estimate 14 hours bagged. Is oxygen essential as I will be buying from a breeder who may or may not ...
