Do enjoy using this site however have not posted for a long time. Don't have any L46 at present but fellow hobbiests here do have and are trying to get me back into them.

These zebra's are F1. Have read some of the comments about snub nose's on zebra's and have looked at a lot of pictures. My last picture probably does have a snub nose but the others???? Would still like some more opinions on sex and whether they should be used to breed? Thanks in advance.

I bought these fish 14 months age all from 1 breeder. At the time I didn't know about bulldog noses. I am looking for people's input on how bad this condition is and if these should be bread? If they are all males then I guess there is no problem. They now 5-6 cm . 2.25" long and about 20 months old.

heaters
I have a 9'x20' room in the basement which is insulated and with the light ballasts and the hot water heater in the room I can maintain about 80-82 f in the summer and 76-78in the winter. This has worked well for my Africans. Will put a heater in the 30 gal when I set ti up.

I have put them in the smaller tanks so I can check that they are eating and I can see them all the time. Also to put a heater in a small tank is hard and I don't have any luck with heaters as the like to lock up and cook the fish. Once I am comfortable with them I will move them into a 30 gal. with ...
