In nature, the density of any animal is probably nowhere near 5 animals in a 30 x 60 cm area. Also, the density of food is definitely far far less n the wild than in any tank that they are fed in.
Just keep them well fed, and they should be fine with such ample space. If you feed after lights out ...

Re: Using Royal Mail to Kill, sorry Ship fish.
??????????????
Sounds to me like clothahump is not the sender or receiver so why should it be his/her fault?
Yes, sorry, my mistake I misread. Definitely the sender's fault. I thought he was the sender, but am mistaken; however my opinion that it is entirely the sender's fault does not change ...

Corys and shrimp will be fine, IMO. Corys will not be active at night so won't compete for food, and the shrimp will hardly be competition.
That being said, I support shrimp fully, as I am personally convinced that newly born shrimplets are a very very good food source for all fish, and plecos are ...

Sounds a lot like your fault. You sent it: 1, poorly packaged, 2. over mail, poorly packaged. I would only send fish if you are confident and successful in other attempts.[/b]clothahump wrote: it arrived this morning DEAD due to poor packaging

Territoriality setting in?
I've had my zebra juvies (10 months old) for a few weeks now, and up till today they all loved to live together under a piece of driftwood, instead of the slate I had set up for them.
However, today I noticed that they were all in different places, one to each place. When does territoriality set in ...

@ darry: the plants he has in the front are anubias species, they will pretty much grow with next to no light at all. The plants in the back I am not sure what they are, but they appear fine.

Good to know guys, thanks for all the advice. I've only had them a few weeks now (two weeks today :)) And I think they're starting to get comfortable, as they're hanging out more and more near the edge of the hiding spots. Hopefully they'll like to come out any play after a few more weeks in there ...

My little guys are fairly timid right now, and they pretty much stay hidden together in the dark, so feeding them during the day would be hard. I haven't even seen them feeding during the night, and the only way I know they are feeding is that they're not thin.
Any suggestions as to getting them to ...
