i just use the airstone in the water and leave it

plenty food and plenty waterchanges to match as clean water and good food = good growth

If you have some barrels put water in them and put an airstone in with them and leave for 24 hours and re test your water

i use melifix as well as the leaves when my 134 females get battered by the male and have had really good results within a few days
