:oops: Ive noticed that I hadnt covered the back of the cave fully, does this matter? there is a ap at the top, if it is a problem I can cover them with silcone, or a small slither of slate.

Whats the views on that?

I think I finally got caves right

hey all,

After a disastrous first attempt, using small slate coasters, I decide to buy some floor tiles and try them.

Here is the first attempt, try not to laugh too hard, I even stuck the shattered bits back together :oops:

off the top of my head, as im not at home, the tank is 36x15x18 this could be wrong, but its about 3' long.

the filter is an external 305, and the powerhead would be used for flow only, not connected to a filter.
I have a tetratec 305 airpump for it as well, currently is only running at half the ...

TBH, im not too sure on their size, I think they will be small, as they guy is growing them on atm.

I will be bringing in other fish at a later date, once i have the offspring of these four, so will eventually have two or three tanks with breeding fish in.

Hi,

As some may have read, I'm getting some Zebras in a few months and I'm currently gathering equipment. Ive read they require high water movement.

I torn at the moment between a 15gallon with a fluval 4+ and a 30gallon with a fluval 305 as I have both these tank up and running.

now this is good, looks like we could do some trading of fry then, to keep the blood good.

I just need to learn how to do one of those blood line charts to ensure no interbreeding.

Im taking delivery of 4 zebras in a few months so thought Id do some more reading up and question asking.
