i'd personally keep the Zeb's in there own species tank, that way you can enjoy them more and actually see them.

As soon as you put them in your planted tank, they'll just disappear into hiding, and not where you placed your caves etc. Lol.

I have noticed a slight mark on one of my 2" zebs, basically looks like his midsection has been knawed slightly by one of the others.

The damage is not in the same league as some of the pics i have seen on here, and he/she is carrying on normally.

I've had something similiar, i think the small worms may have been some sort of plenum, which multiplied in my tank. They were quick to move around too.

They began to multiple like mad and would swarm over any uneaten food.
