well... if you ever experience your fish being cooked overnight by a runaway heater while you sleep, you might apreciate a warning that wakes you up ;)

Never thought of it like that although i space heat the fish house and this is on two timers in case one should fail, ok if it sticks on but not ...

i always look at the fish while checking the temperature etc if i wanted a hobby i could do from a desk then it would not be fishkeeping!!!
