L236

I have now joined the sad world of those who owned Zebra's (L46). I lost my two,
I started looking at the L236. They are bigger but it is hard to tell how big in girth and length it really is. I think they measure from the where the tail begin in the body to the tip of nose. These are much cheaper ...

The Seller is Exotic finds the owner Blue is extremely bad at communication. I will keep bugging him for the breeders name.

I am not sure if I know the symptoms for worms. My fish have never had them. I did note that some people treat for worms as a precaution.

My 2 bushy's are seven months old. They are almost 3" in the body.

Seller's communication skills are real bad. I couldn't even get the breeders name out the ...

New to Zebra

I get my two small 1" zebra's tomorrow. I have the tank set up just for them. How will I know if they need wormed? I bought food listed in hints and tips so they will have a variety. Is there anything special I should do for them since they are so young? I hope to make jelly food for them, then I ...

I spent last night reading old posts and only got through half. You are right about that some want to sex these early for profit, but I did note that those with the largest colonies do it for the species. That's nice. Me I just read about aggression in having two males and wanted to prevent this ...

You are right DanD. I never thought of the selling of unsexed. I guess I still try to hope for honest people. It could be hard on the males.
I love mine and would not care if there are no females. I just love to watch them. They are finally coming out to eat and seeing they are only 3/4" I won't ...

Would a vet be able to sex

I was wondering if there is someone or way to sex Zebra's earlier. Could an ichthyologist maybe at the University? Someone has to do this. It just seems like such a guess thing.

Why are most sales in Europe or for PU

I have been looking for 2 zebra young. Why are most of the sales in Europe or pick up only? I would like to buy two zebra's for the fun of watching them grow. I guess I am odd I like the mating behavior more than I like the fry. In my tank fry are protein if meant to survive they will. I really don ...

raised caves

I assume zebra's will travel all over the tank like other pleco's my AB's love the driftwood but with the zebra's I will need to add caves.
Do I need one cave per pleco?
Can the caves be up on the back wall of the tank? I saw some smooth looking rock that had holes in it. I thought to make a couple ...
