Thanks for the vote of confidence Tom.

I didn't take offence at all and wasn't annoyed, rather more interested at the assumptions made about me. On our forum, we have such issues too, just not including moderators, we are there to present the level headed side, rather than provoke things (even ...

No. We were talking about donations. Hosting a site is not a donation. A donation is monetary or other support that is given, and cannot be taken back.

Hosting a site can be taken away at any time, you can simply turn off the server.

If you choose to take my arguments as a ...

Fair enough - that's the problem with IT people/forum owners - too many empires to keep hold of to realise a good deal when they see it (I did say totally independent) - hence my skepticism. I deal with the likes of this all the time, including hosting one of the biggest forums on fish in the world ...

And I repeat, if you want to host this site absolutley free on an unlimited basis (with PHP and whatever else you need), I can arrange it - all you'll see is a small credit graphic somewhere and/or maybe a thanks post.

The company will take no ownership and will provide full and complete ftp access ...

Having been a breeder for about 20 years I can see how such things can happen and I guess I am looking for someone who has at least my standards for care to avoid that but having made a choice, I would accept that sometimes you just can't help things like that, yet they've never happened to me, so ...

Thanks for all the "votes".

I am prepared to give these away if it helps the breed, however I have to be cynical, even though intentions seem good and realise that I cannot police what happens, no matter who is saying what they'll do for the best.

Therefore, if I donate them to someone who breeds ...

From the messages I'm getting, I guess this is a no go, so I think I'll just sell them.

It really makes me sad to just go for the highest bidder yet I don't see any other way of trusting someone to breed them other than who is prepared to make the biggest financial committment. I realise also that ...

If you can think of a better way then please PM or I think I'll just bang them on eBay at a £1 starting price and forget about trying to do anything!

Breeding Trio Sorted - Please Ignore

Hello everyone

Further to http://www.zebrapleco.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1053 regarding my Zebras, I have been reading through all the PMs and having a think about how I can make this work for the benefit of the species.

The offers ranged between £250 and £1000 (which I think is pretty ...

Thanks for all the PMs everyone. I'm a little too busy to read and respond to them all at the moment but I will do probably at the weekend.

Thanks.

Must just add after the Pms I have received that I am not willing to split these - I mean - who would - they are breeders!

Well much against my principles and having had no time to dedicate to these beautiful creatures at all, I am now putting them up for sale - it is the only way I can find someone to breed them without me worrying about controlling where the fry go - so breeding trio, 1 male and 2 females, proven ...

Did I read somewhere recently that the ban is unlikely to be lifted as their home habitat is in real danger?

Hey Tom nice to hear from you.

Well as far as private owners go, you are at the top of the list!

I am going to look at putting them into some nfp breeding program for a while and try and make some time to breed them once again to give some fry away (awaits emails requests!) - I hadn't forgotten ...
